Regulo Lopez Arrested In New Caney, TX Accident

Hit and run at Farm-to-Market 1485

Tragic accident that occurred on July 14 in New Caney, Texas. Regulo Lopez was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a motorcyclist. A GMC pickup truck, traveling west on Farm-to-Market 1485, crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The rider was ejected from the bike and found unresponsive in a creek bed. Lopez was arrested for intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid involving death. The 37-year-old victim was pronounced dead after the crash. His identity was not immediately disclosed. The incident remains under investigation.
