Robert Wayne Skaggs Killed In Albany, GA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 10 in Albany, Georgia. Robert Wayne Skaggs was tragically killed in an accident between an Albany Police Department patrol car and a Crisp County Schools bus at the intersection of North Jefferson Street and Seventh Avenue. The GSP said that the school bus came into the intersection as a police department officer running lights and sirens to a burglary in progress call entered the intersection. Sadly, Skaggs was pinned to a traffic light post by the bus. Seven patients, including several students, were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, including three in critical condition.
