Tragic accident that occurred on October 20 in Schenectady, New York. A 24-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by an alleged drunk driver, Ronald Abraham, on Eastern Avenue. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition. Abraham was charged with one count each of second-degree vehicular assault and driving while intoxicated. He was also cited for resisting arrest and operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
