Tragic accident that occurred on July 20 in Merced, California. Rosie Lee Mayes was tragically killed in a head-on accident on Highway 33 when her Nissan was hit by a Honda driven by an 18-year-old man. The CHP said that it appears the Honda may have been in the southbound lane, possibly passing another vehicle. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
