Tragic accident that occurred on August 15 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Ruben Rodriguez and his wife died in a four-vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 70. The accident occurred when an eastbound semitrailer crashed, rolled, and spilled large pipes across both sides of the interstate near Ward Road.  The pipes crashed into the couple’s car, which was headed west. The family was traveling to the mountains for a multi-day celebration of the couple’s marriage. The accident remains under investigation.
