Salvador Mendoza Killed In George West, TX Accident

Head on crash on US 59

Tragic accident that occurred on December 30 in George West, Texas. Six people lost their lives following a head-on crash on US-59 when the driver of a Chrysler van attempted to go around a vehicle in a no-passing zone and crashed head-on with a Chevrolet Suburban. Shortly afterward, the Nissan driver then slammed into the Suburban from behind. The driver of the Suburban, Salvador Almeda Mendoza was declared dead at the scene. DPS troopers will be conducting a thorough investigation into the deadly accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
