Tragic accident that occurred on March 20th in Rock Island, Illinois. Shaelyn Simmons was injured in a head-on crash with a drunk driver on Interstate 280. 27-year-old Mallory Griffith was traveling the wrong way at the time of the collision. Simmons' car drove off the road and into a ditch, and she was taken to a hospital for treatment of her injuries. Griffith faces charges of improper lane usage, driving the wrong way on a one-way road, aggravated reckless driving, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
