Sherman Vannoy Killed In Minneola, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on October 2 in Minneola, Florida. Sherman Vannoy lost his life when he was struck by a school bus in front of Lake Minneola High School. Vannoy was riding a bicycle on the sidewalk on Hancock Road at Fox Trail Avenue when a school bus attempted to turn to enter the school grounds and collided with Sherman, who was in the crosswalk. The bus continued off the road and struck a stop sign and a fence. Sherman was rushed to South Lake Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation by FHP.
