Sophia Durgin Injured In Dixon, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occured on Saturday April 17th at about 9:30 PM in Dixon, California. Sophia Durgin, a junior at Davis High, was seriously injured in a one-vehicle fatal accident on Tremont Road. A Davis High senior was operating a Mustang at a high rate of speed, when he tried to make an unsafe turn and went off the road. The car swerved into a field and overturned about 40 feet from the roadway. Ms. Durgin was transported to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center with major injuries. The driver, an 18-year-old senior, tragically was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are asking anyone with information to call the California Highway Patrol’s Solano office at 707-428-2100.
