Stephen Funk Killed In Asheville, NC Accident

Wreck on Tunnel Road, Near Riceville Road

Tragic accident that occurred on December 21st, in Asheville, North Carolina. Stephen Funk was tragically killed after being struck by a 1996 Ford ranger at the intersection of Tunnel Road near Riceville Road. Funk suffered injuries as a result of the collision. He was transported to Mission Hospital, where authorities pronounced him dead. It was unclear whether the motorist, Jeremiah Silver, would face any charges in the crash.
