Stephen Sherburne Arrested In Fort Lauderdale, FL Accident

Hit and run at Southeast Sixth Street

Tragic accident that occurred on October 26 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Stephen Sherburne was arrested when he tragically struck and killed a pedestrian and fled the scene. Sherburne was the driver of a Hertz rental car that struck the victim at Southeast Sixth Street and South Federal Highway. Employees at Hertz noticed front-end damage to the car he rented and immediately called the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. Sherburne was taken into custody in connection with the incident.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
