Terra Kavla Killed In Hall, TX Accident

Crash on Highway 256

Tragic accident that occurred on November 14 in Hall, Texas. Terra Kavla was killed in a crash on State Highway 256. A 2002 Toyota Corolla was disabled in the left lane due to a crash with a deer and had its hazard lights operating. A Dodge Grand Caravan minivan did not realize the Toyota was stopped, swerved to the right at the last moment but sideswiped the car. The driver along with two passengers, was attempting to exit the car and seek safety in a nearby ditch when the crash occurred. Kavla was pronounced dead at the scene. DPS continues to investigate the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
