Timothy Abruzzo Injured In Manorville, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on October 30 in Manorville. New York. Timothy Abruzzo was injured in a crash involving a DUI driver that was traveling at a high rate of speed on the Long Island Expressway near Exit 69. The driver struck the rear of a 2010 International oil truck, causing the truck to overturn into a wooded area. The operator of the International oil truck, Timothy Abruzzo, was flown to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment. The driver of Cadillac was apprehended and is facing several charges, including driving while ability impaired by drugs and reckless driving. Anyone with information about the wreck is asked to call major case unit detectives at 631-852-6555. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
