A 57-year-old man was tragically killed and three others injured when a vehicle driven by Troy Shumpert plowed into a CTA bus stop near 79th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Two women, 64 and 23 years old, and another male were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. Shumpert was charged with one felony count of driving revoked/2+/person injury/death along with misdemeanor driving on a revoked license and uninsured motor vehicle.
