William Kinney Injured In Wood, WV Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 2 in Wood, West Virginia. William Kinney was injured in a three-vehicle crash in the 4500 block of Staunton Turnpike. Kinney was driving a Ford Ranger east and had stopped to yield to oncoming traffic, waiting to make a left turn. A Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 30-year-old female resident of Wood County was behind Kinney. A Nissan Versa driven by a 27-year-old male resident of Wood County then struck the rear of the Equinox, which was pushed forward and struck the rear of the Ford Ranger. An investigation into the crash is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
