17-Year-Old Laura Newman Injured In Kalama, WA Accident

Pedestrian struck on China Garden Rd.

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, September 14 in Kalama, Washington. 17-year-old Laura Newman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross China Garden Road east of the elementary school toward Date Street. The victim was struck by a sedan that was heading east on the road. She was transported via helicopter to Peace Health SW. Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
