Holland was driving a Chevrolet Silverado when it slowed to turn left and was struck from behind by a Jeep Wrangler whos driver failed to control her speed. Impact resulted in the Silverado crossing the westbound lanes of Highway 79 and hitting a Ram 2500 towing a trailer. Holland was pronounced deceased at the scene.
