According to a report from the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, a Ford Sedan, driven by 35-year-old Thomas Kotalo, was northbound and failed to yield at a stop sign. It subsequently struck a vehicle that was westbound on Ohio Route 613. Five people, including both drivers, were transported by ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital. Kotalo was cited by police for failure to stop at a stop sign. The accident remains under investigation.
