19-Year-Old Jeffrey Jones Killed In Oak Ridge, NC Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, June 25 just before 7 PM in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. 19-year-old Jeffrey Jones was tragically killed when he was involved in a wreck cause by an impaired driver on  Highway 150. Mr. Jones was a passenger in a Chevy pick up driven by Jacob Stevens. Mr. Stevens traveled off the road, struck a mailbox and trashcan, crossed the centerline, rolled over, and struck a power pole. Mr. Stevens has been charged with driving while impaired. Mr. Jones was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. He was described as a “so loving caring driven and a proud American, destined for great things.“ A GoFundMe page has been created to help the family with funeral expenses.
