Montello was collecting trimmed branches around the roadway when he was struck by a passing vehicle. Montello was seriously injured and taken to Glens Falls Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Washington County Sheriff's Office says no charges have been filed and that they continue to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
