21-Year-Old Colten Adams Injured In Leona, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on June 6th in Leona, Texas. 21-year-old Colten Adams, a volunteer firefighter, was injured when a tractor-trailer struck two vehicles stopped on the shoulder of Interstate 45. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), a passenger car and Chevy pickup were involved in a minor crash.  Adams was on the scene when an International 18-wheeler collided with both vehicles. Adams was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple with serious injuries.  The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
