21-Year-Old Darious McClendon Involved In Rockford, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, May 4th in Rockford, Illinois. 21-year-old Darious McClendon was charged with reckless homicide in a crash that killed one woman at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Kishwaukee Street. McClendon lost control of his vehicle and struck another car occupied by two women, ages 45 and 18. The 45-year-old woman sadly later passed away at a hospital. The crash remains under investigation by the Rockford Police Department. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
