22-Year-Old Robert Costello Killed In Crete, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 21st in Crete, Illinois. 22-year-old Robert A. Costello was one of two victims tragically killed in a single-vehicle accident on northbound Illinois Route 394, north of Goodenow Road. The wreck occurred when the Ford Explorer that the men were riding in veered off the road and struck a light pole before flipping over into the ditch. Sadly, Costello was pronounced dead at the scene. The ISP is investigating the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
