23-Year-Old Cindy Martinez Injured In Bushland, TX Accident

Multi vehicle wreck on Interstate 40

Tragic accident that occurred on February 28th in Bushland, Texas. 23-year-old Cindy Martinez was one of five people injured in a multi-vehicle wreck near Interstate 40. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers were attempting to stop a 2007 Lexus RX 350, when the driver, Isabel Hernandez, refused to comply. The car continued for 14 miles before exiting. As the Lexus exited the freeway, Hernandez disregarded a stop sign and collided with a Tahoe and a Suburban. The Lexus overturned several times, ejecting one of its passengers. Martinez was transported to Amarillo Northwest Texas Hospital with unspecified injuries.
