The victim was traveling in a white Nissan when the driver of a Honda crossed the centerline and struck her vehicle head on. She was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda, 45-year-old Jerry Overcash Junior was airlifted to Wake Forest medical center. Police reported that he will be charged if he survives his injuries.
