25-Year-Old Elizabeth Trujillo Injured In Gainesville, GA Accident

Crash at EE Butler Parkway

Tragic accident that occurred on October 6 in Gainesville, Georgia. 25-year-old Elizabeth Trujillo was seriously hurt in a crash at the intersection of the EE Butler Parkway and Interstate 985 northbound on-ramp. Trujillo was a passenger in a Honda Accord that was struck on its passenger side by a southbound Kia Sorento that failed to obey a red traffic signal and entered the intersection. Trujillo was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the Kia, Francisco Dominguez fled the scene and was located nearby. He was charged with DUI, hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident with injury and other charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
