25-Year-Old Maria Soto Killed In Sutter, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on February 20 in Sutter, California. 25-year-old Maria Flores Soto, and her 16-month-old son, Andres Ambriz, died in a head-on crash with a suspected DUI driver. Initial reports suggest a 2021 Chevrolet pickup truck was heading eastbound on State Route 20 when the driver crossed over the double yellow lines and crashed head-on into a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The driver attempted to flee the accident scene, but was apprehended by officials. He was arrested on several counts, including DUI causing injury or death, gross vehicular manslaughter, attempting to flee the scene of an injury crash, and child endangerment.
