25-Year-Old Nicholas Watson Injured In Chapel Hill, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on January 25th in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. 25-year-old Nicholas Watson was seriously injured when his electrical bicycle was struck by a parked car’s door. Watson was traveling west, between Roberson and Graham streets, when a driver who had pulled into a parking space opened his door to get out. Watson’s bike hit the car, knocking him to the pavement. Watson was rushed to UNC Hospitals, where he remains in critical condition. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
