The driver left the roadway before striking the victims who were walking on the shoulder. Wright did not initially stop at the scene, but was later apprehended and taken into custody. The crash remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Absecon Police Department, Traffic Safety Unit at (609) 641-0667 ext. 861.
