25-Year-Old Thomas Wright Arrested In Absecon, NJ Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, December 26 at around 11 PM in Absecon, New Jersey. 25-year-old Thomas Wright has been arrested for striking and injuring two pedestrians on US Route 30 by the Crest Motel. The driver left the roadway before striking the victims who were walking on the shoulder. Wright did not initially stop at the scene, but was later apprehended and taken into custody. The crash remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Absecon Police Department, Traffic Safety Unit at (609) 641-0667 ext. 861.
