26-Year-Old Ashley Clairmonte Involved In Pasco, FL Accident

Impaired driver causes wreck

Tragic accident that occurred on May 16th in Pasco, Florida. Five children and an adult from Philadelphia were seriously injured in a crash with an impaired driver on Interstate 75. 26-year-old Ashley Clairmonte stopped her Buick Encore in the inside lane because she was “impaired and tired.” At that time, a Chevy Tracker driven by a 24-year-old woman crashed into the back of Clairmonte’s vehicle. The driver of the Tracker and five children, four girls ages 10, 6, 8, and 1, and a 6-year-old boy, were all hospitalized. Clairmonte fled the scene into a nearby tree line after the accident but returned when Troopers arrived at the scene. She was charged with DUI serious injury and leaving the scene of a crash with injury. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims
