26-Year-Old Hunter Thompson Arrested In Colorado Springs, CO Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on October 6 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash that resulted in 26-year-old Hunter Thompson being arrested. A series of minor crashes allegedly ended with a collision between Hunter Thompson’s pickup truck and a garbage truck at the intersection of Drennan Road and South Academy Boulevard. The passenger in the pickup truck was taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. Later, CSPD found Thompson, the suspected driver, and arrested him. He was charged with multiple crimes including vehicular assault. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
