Dickens was fatally injured after being hit twice along southbound Interstate 5. The string of events began when a vehicle in which Dickens was a passenger was involved in a crash near the West Seattle Bridge. Just as the Kent local exited the car, she was hit by another vehicle. Shortly afterward, an ambulance stopped to render aid when it was struck by a fourth vehicle. As a result, the ambulance flipped on its top and was pushed into Dickens' vehicle, which then hit the 26-year-old a second time. The Arizona man was charged with vehicular homicide and driving under the influence, the State Patrol stated. Authorities are investigating the crash.
