27-Year-Old Kevin Santamaria Killed In Islip, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on February 26th in Islip, New York. 27-year-old Kevin Santamaria sadly died when the car that he was a passenger in struck an oil tanker truck while traveling the wrong way on Route 111. According to Suffolk County Police, Santamaria was traveling in a southbound Honda Accord driven by a 27-year-old man that veered into the northbound lane and struck an oil tanker truck. Santamaria was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
