27-Year-Old Khadijah Stanley Killed In Rochester, NY Accident

Pedestrian struck on Hudson Ave., and Wilkins St.

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, December 20th in Rochester, New York. 27-year-old Khadijah Stanley was tragically killed when a man allegedly struck her in a pedestrian-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hudson Avenue, and Wilkins Street. 51-year-old Lonnie Gandues has been charged with DWI and vehicular manslaughter in the crash. Ms. Stanley had just left the home of her mother, and was heading to a store to get her grandmother a bite to eat. Suddenly, Mr. Gandues' SUV jumped a sidewalk and struck the innocent woman. She was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, where Ms. Stanley tragically passed away. Rosalee described her only child as the life of the party who brought people together with her kindness. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family.
