28-Year-Old Akeem Alexander Killed In Peoria, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on August 28 in Peoria, Illinois. 28-year-old Akeem Alexander was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident on West Ann Street while riding his bike. The driver that struck Alexander fled the scene after the accident. The suspect’s vehicle was found shortly after the accident unoccupied in the 2100 block of West Antoinette Street with major front-end damage. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
