28-Year-Old Jacob Rodriguez Injured In Mastic, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 13th in Mastic, New York. 28-year-old Jacob Rodriguez was seriously injured when he was struck by a hit-and-run motorist on Mastic Road. Jacob Rodriguez was on foot when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene and has yet to be located.  Rodriguez was seriously injured and transported by helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital. Police request anyone with details relating to the incident to contact them at 631-852-8752 or 1800-220-TIPS.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
