28-Year-Old Mikeala Brooks Injured In Tyler, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on March 1st, in Tyler, Texas. 28-year-old Mikaela Brooks was one of four people injured in a chain-reaction crash along Highway 31. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Nissan Rogue, a GMC Acadia, and a BMW X5 were stopped at a red light. The driver of the Infiniti failed to control the vehicle’s speed and struck the Nissan in the rear causing the Nissan to strike the GMC before sliding into the center median where it came to a stop. The GMC then struck the BMW. Both came to a stop in the roadway. After striking the Nissan the Infiniti spun into the outside lane striking the Hyundai. Brooks, who drove the Nissan, was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The DPS continues to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
