Tragic accident that occurred on August 15 in Fairfield, Alabama. 29-year-old Devante Laface Gilmore died after being hit by a vehicle on Ensley-Pleasant Grove Road. The driver called police to report that she had hit an unknown object in the road. Gilmore's body was discovered several hours later in tall grass off the road. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
