30-Year-Old Billy Walsh Killed In Wheller, GA AccidentMulti vehicle wreck on Georgia Highway 31Posted: 3 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on February 18th in Wheller, Georgia. 30-year-old Billy Walsh was tragically killed when the vehicle he was a passenger in was involved in a two-vehicle wreck on Georgia Highway 31. Preliminary findings showed a Pontiac was traveling north and a Volvo was heading south when for undetermined reasons, the Pontiac driver crossed the centerline, traveling directly into the path of the Volvo. As a result, the two vehicles collided head-on, and then both were engulfed in flames. The victim tragically died in the wreck. Investigation into the crash was ongoing and handled by the Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
