30-Year-Old Edward Kampelman Injured In Perry, IL Accident

Semi-truck accident on Illinois Route 13 at Plum Road

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, May 24 at around 9:36 AM in Perry, Illinois. 30-year-old Edward Kampelman was seriously injured after being struck by a Kenworth truck tractor semi-trailer on Illinois Route 13 at Plum Road. The semi trailer was traveling southbound when it crossed lanes and collided with a northbound silver Toyota driven by Mr. Kampelman. He was flown to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the semi truck was issued a citation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
