32-Year-Old Danny Nichols Jr. Killed In Port Arthur, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, May 20 at around 7:36 PM in Port Arthur, Texas. 32-year-old Danny Nichols Jr. was tragically killed in a head on crash in the 2600 block of State Highway 82. 25-year-old Chance Craddock has been charged with three counts of intoxication manslaughter after admitting to using drugs and alcohol prior to the crash. He was driving a Dodge truck north when he crossed into the southbound lanes and struck the vehicle head on. The crash remains under investigation by the Port Arthur Police Accident Reconstruction Team. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
