32-Year-Old Dechavis McManus Charged In Raleigh, NC Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on June 14th in Raleigh, North Carolina. 32-year-old Dechavis McManus faces multiple charges after a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident that left a victim with serious injuries. McManus was driving a vehicle that struck the pedestrian along Chapel Hill Road between Corporate Center Drive and Nowell Road. The pedestrian, who police did not publicly identify, was transported to an area hospital for treatment. McManus was charged with felony serious injury by vehicle, driving while impaired, and possession of marijuana, police said. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
