32-Year-Old Wesley Soper Killed In Perinton, NY AccidentThe crash remains under investigationPosted: 3 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, December 15th in Perinton, New York. 32-year-old Wesley Soper was tragically killed after being struck by a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle near Pittsford Palmyra Road and Moseley Road. The victim was struck by a vehicle driven by Deputy Michael Houlihan after he was observing a suspicious vehicle that was parked across the street. The deputy was not on call at the time. Soper was taken to Strong Hospital, where he tragically later died. An investigation into the crash is ongoing and will include identifying witnesses, looking for potential video footage of the incident, reviewing body-worn camera video, reviewing police radio audio traffic, and a mechanical inspection of the striking patrol vehicle.
