34-Year-Old Joseph Gause IV Killed In Winston Salem, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on April 24th in Winston Salem, North Carolina. 34-year-old Joseph Gause IV lost his life in a multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of East 28th Street and North Glenn Avenue. Gause was operating a 2000 Chevrolet when a Dodge Charger driven by a 25-year-old Mohogany Smith crashed into Gause at the intersection. Gause was fatally injured and sadly pronounced dead at the scene. After impact, the Charger left the road and struck a parked 2013 Volkswagen Beetle. Further details on the circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately available. Police urge anyone with information to contact them at 336-773-7700.
