37-Year-Old Duane Adent Injured In San Luis Obispo, CA Accident

Wrong way crash along Highway 101

Tragic accident that occurred on March 27th in San Luis Obispo, California. 37-year-old Duane Adent was injured in a wrong-way crash caused by an alleged drunken driver along Highway 101. According to the California Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Santa Maria resident David Lopez entered the highway southbound and began driving north. His vehicle collided head-on with the left-front of another car causing it to spin and overturn several times. Adent was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center. Lopez was arrested by CHP officers.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
