37-Year-Old Joseph Haugabook Killed In Fort Pierce, FL Accident

Victim identified in tragic auto vs pedestrian collision on Christmas evening

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, December 25 at around 5 PM in Fort Pierce Florida. 37-year-old Joseph Haugabook died after being fatally struck by a vehicle on N. 25th St. 23-year-old Pedro Rivera was driving a Toyota Yaris southbound at the intersection of Avenue Q, when his vehicle hit Haugabook, who was crossing the roadway. Haugabook was transported to Longwood Regional Medical Center where he sadly passed away. Rivera remained at the scene to cooperate with investigators. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
