37-Year-Old Leoncio Tavera-Trejo Killed In Loving, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on May 30th in Loving, Texas. 37-year-old Leoncio Tavera-Trejo was identified as one of the six people who lost their lives in a two-vehicle crash at Loving County Road 300 and Ranch-to-Market 652. A Toyota Tundra pickup truck was northbound when the driver disregarded a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a Ford F-250 pickup truck. The Ford was occupied by four people including Leoncio. The force of the impact caused the Toyota's right side to crash sideways into a utility pole. Four passengers were ejected and sadly died in the crash. The DPS continues to investigate the collision. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
