Motorcycle vs. U-Haul collision on W. Second St.

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, May 3rd just before 9 PM in Taylor, Texas. 38-year-old Jacob Shelp was tragically killed when his motorcycle collided with a U-Haul rental truck on West Second Street (U.S. 79) approaching the intersection of FM 3349. The accident occured when his motorcycle was struck by a U-Haul truck driven by Melanie Cunningham. Mr. Shelp was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
