Tragic accident that occurred on May 16th in Wadley, Alabama.  38-year-old  Patrick Smith lost his life when he was struck by a motor vehicle while attempting to walk across Alabama State Route 22. Smith was fatally injured and declared dead at the site of the accident.  Further details about the circumstances of the incident were not immediately available.
