40-Year-Old Brian Thompson Injured In Lumberton, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, May 16 at around 5:56 PM in Lumberton, North Carolina. 40-year-old Brian Thompson was injured when the vehicle that he was a passenger in collided with another driver near Roberts Avenue and Carver Street. 39-year-old Rhonda Oxendine was reportedly swerving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed, when she lost control and struck a 2010 Ford. Thompson, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to UNC Health Southeastern’s Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Two people in the Ford were injured in the crash. The accident remains under investigation and we sent our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
