40-Year-Old Brian Thompson Injured In Lumberton, NC AccidentThe crash remains under investigationPosted: 3 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on Sunday, May 16 at around 5:56 PM in Lumberton, North Carolina. 40-year-old Brian Thompson was injured when the vehicle that he was a passenger in collided with another driver near Roberts Avenue and Carver Street. 39-year-old Rhonda Oxendine was reportedly swerving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed, when she lost control and struck a 2010 Ford. Thompson, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to UNC Health Southeastern’s Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Two people in the Ford were injured in the crash.
